Format and Packaging Rules

Total number of units = 12
4 core units plus
8 elective units, of which:
  • 4 elective units must be selected from the listed electives
  • 4 elective units may be selected from the listed electives or from any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course at Advanced Diploma level.

ENTRY FOR THIS COURSE

Whilst there are no entry requirements for this qualification stipulated in the BSB Training Package,  ICV requires its participants to meet the following criteria:

  • Successful completion of Diploma of Leadership and Management or Equivalent
  • Successful completion of ICV Language, Literacy and Numeracy Test, with ACSF level 4l
  • Applicant should possess basic computer skills.
Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.

formal learning refers to learning that takes place through a structured program of instruction and is linked to the attainment of an AQF qualification or statement of attainment (for example, a certificate, diploma or university degree);
non-formal learning refers to learning that takes place through a structured program of instruction, but does not lead to the attainment of an AQF qualification or statement of attainment (for example, in-house professional development programs conducted by a business); and
informal learning refers to learning that results through experience of work-related, social, family, hobby or leisure activities.
Learners are encouraged to apply for RPL prior to or immediately after formal enrolment but prior to the facilitated delivery of units to ensure that they do not miss any class/workshop opportunities offered should they be unsuccessful in the RPL process.

RTO recognises the AQF Qualifications and Statement of Attainments issued by any other Registered Training Organisation.
